Bengaluru, India – Oct 23, 2025: SISA, in collaboration with BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT&M), inaugurated the SISA Centre of Excellence (CoE) for advancing cybersecurity education. Inaugurated by Sri Aviram Sharma, Trustee, BMS Educational Trust.
The CoE aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Globally, the cybersecurity workforce gap stands at nearly 4.8 million professionals, with over 80% of Indian companies reporting vulnerability due to talent shortages.
Sri Aviram Sharma remarked, “This Centre marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering innovation and industry collaboration in cybersecurity.”
Dharshan Shanthamurthy, CEO of SISA, added, “Through this Centre of Excellence, we aim to build skilled talent that can drive India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision in cybersecurity.”
