SISA and BMSIT&M Inaugurate Centre of Excellence to Advance New-Age, AI-driven Cybersecurity Education

Bengaluru, India – Oct 23, 2025: SISA, a global forensics-driven cybersecurity company, in collaboration with BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT&M), today inaugurated the SISA Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education and workforce development. The Centre was inaugurated by Sri Aviram Sharma, Trustee, BMS Educational Trust and Chairman, BoG, of BMSIT&M in the presence of faculty members, students, and senior representatives from SISA.

The SISA CoE marks a significant step toward bridging the gap between academia and industry in the fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape. The CoE is conceived with a clear mission to equip the next generation of engineers and cybersecurity professionals with the skills, mindset and exposure they need to tackle the most pressing and emerging challenges in cybersecurity, including those driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technologies.

Sri Aviram Sharma, speaking at the inauguration remarked, "At BMSIT&M, our vision has always been to nurture future-ready talent. The collaboration with SISA brings our students closer to real-world industry challenges and emerging technologies in cybersecurity."

Echoing the vision,Dharshan Shanthamurthy, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of SISA, added, "Cybersecurity today is no longer just about protection but about prediction and preparedness. Through this Centre of Excellence, we aim to build skilled talent that can drive India's Atmanirbhar Bharat vision in cybersecurity."

The SISA CoE will focus on emerging new-age threats powered by AI and quantum technologies, ensuring that the next generation of cybersecurity professionals is prepared for what's coming next—from adversarial AI to post-quantum cryptography risks.
