Bengaluru, India – April 14, 2026: On World Quantum Day, SISA, a global leader in cybersecurity for the payments ecosystem, today announced the launch of the Certified Quantum Security Professional (CQSP) program, the world's first ANAB-accredited certification in quantum security. The program is designed to prepare professionals and organizations for the next paradigm shift in cybersecurity, driven by the rapid advancement of quantum computing.

The timing of the launch is critical. Cryptographically relevant quantum computers are moving closer to reality, while global policymakers have already set timelines for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) adoption, with most targeting readiness by 2035.

This shift carries significant implications for global payment systems where systems are deeply interconnected and highly regulated. They rely on public-key cryptography to secure transactions, authentication, and data integrity across critical infrastructure. Preparing for this transition is significantly more complex than past cryptographic migrations, which themselves took nearly two decades. This challenge is compounded by the fact that over 60 percent of organizations lack visibility into their cryptographic assets, including keys and certificates, making transformation even harder to execute at scale. Enabling this shift requires specialized skills and a workforce capable of operationalizing quantum-safe principles across critical sectors. CQSP is designed to address this need directly.
